Homeopathy FAQ

Is there a homeopathic remedy for excess glutamate? Well, yes and no. There is a homeopathic remedy for MSG (more on that here). However, when dealing with chronic issues, homeopathy does not work like Western medicine (i.e., Depressed? Take an antidepressant. Diarrhea? Take an anti-diarrheal. In comparison, some homeopaths may use this approach. This has NOT been the approach we've used for chronic issues. I go over chronic vs. acute issues here). Homeopathy is not about suppressing individual symptoms. To help get to the root of the chronic issues (like glutamate), we've used homeopathic remedies to peel [...]

Ten Questions to ask a Potential Homeopath & Why

One of the questions I often get is how to find the right homeopath. Many homeopathic practitioners worldwide offer consultations via secured video conferencing, so don’t limit yourself to your geographical area. Before setting up your first call with your potential homeopathic practitioner, I would strongly consider asking the following. Many health practitioners may also incorporate homeopathic remedies but are not trained homeopaths. Find a true homeopath to fit your health goals best. 1. What type of homeopathy do you practice? Certification? Why? There are different homeopathy types (classical homeopathy, CEASE, sequential, homeopathic drainage, homeoprophylaxis,  homeotoxiciology, etc.) [...]

Why Homeopathy

I’ve procrastinated on writing this post about homeopathy because it’s complex and hard to describe what it is and how it works. Furthermore, I am not a medical professional, and this post does not act as medical advice; I am simply sharing our experience with homeopathy thus far (we started homeopathy in January 2015). Homeopathy has been life-changing for our family, and our love and appreciation for it continue to grow. I can’t tell our story about homeopathy without explaining how we were led to it because it was an absolute God thing. I was introduced to [...]

Homeopathic Potencies & Dosing

Video correction!! In this video, I mistakenly referred to cups as part of the dilution rate instead of parts. Our family frequently uses water dosing with cup dilutions and, out of habit, said  1 part material to 10 cups water (etc.). I should have said 1 part material to 10 parts water. I apologize for the confusion.  When you look at a homeopathic remedy vial, you will notice the remedy name, followed by a number and a letter.  The number identifies how many times the original material has been diluted. The letter [...]

Homeopathic Water Dosing

Homeopathic water dosing is a way to decrease the dose and or prolong the use of homeopathic remedies. With this approach, instead of taking dry pellets, one consumes some of the water that contains the dissolved homeopathic pellets. You do not need to take a water dose to take a homeopathic remedy.  I am only sharing this for those that may be more sensitive or whose homeopaths use water dosing.  How to Make A Water Dose Remedy Bottle: What you will need: 8oz  Plastic Disposable Water Bottle (this is your remedy bottle) [...]

Homeopathic Aggravations

Your Homeopath will guide you; however, finding the correct remedy and potency/dose will likely require much trial and error.  I was told recently that once you've been using homeopathy for six months, you are truly just starting to begin using homeopathy. Therefore, commit to giving it for at least eight months before using homeopathy. Patience is needed, but the number one thing I am most grateful for in this journey is that I did not give up on homeopathy. Now that we know how homeopathic potencies and dosing work, we must understand [...]

What is Homeopathy?

Listen, I know that a good bit of the information found below will sound a little woo-woo. I have been in your shoes before, and I am well aware of how it sounds. I went into homeopathy, not believing in it, so there was very little risk to me. However, our lives have been forever changed by it, and it has been the most important decision we have made in our health. Homeopathy has helped to restore our health in more ways than I can count. Though our homeopath recommends we always [...]
