Welcome to Nourished Blessings! This blog was created to share our journey restoring health with natural remedies and by following a low glutamate/reduced excitatory inflammatory diet (REID). I would first like to acknowledge those working to bring awareness to the dangers of glutamate and credit Dr. Katherine Reid, Ph.D. and Dr. Russell Blaylock, M.D. for sharing their abundant knowledge on the role of excess glutamate in various health issues. I strongly encourage you to explore some of their research. It is because of these two, that I have been compelled to share our story and empowered to crusade against the dangers of excess glutamate. I am not an expert nor a professional chef, but just a mom working as hard as possible to give my child the gift of health and the opportunity to be the best he can be.
